Eagle Scout Award

Among the many paintings Norman Rockwell did for the Boy Scouts, "A Great Moment" is probably one of his most popular works. It depicts the proud moment when a mother pins the Eagle Scout award on her son's shirt. This picture contains the IMAGE (not a real medal) of an Eagle Scout medal, artwork (4 1/2 x 5 3/4) by Norman Rockwell and the official 4 cent boy scout postage stamp which was issued on February 8, 1960. The oak framed picture, with glass, measures 15 1/2 by 12 1/2. It is matted using three mat colors and has a 1/8 inch cut-out line that highlights everything in the picture.
