An American Civil War collectible, "The Last Meeting," by Mort Kunstler. The artwork depicts the meeting between Lee and Jackson to devise a strategy to execute a surprise attack on the superior Northern forces at Chancellorsville. Early the next morning victory was achieved. The excellent print is highlighted by skillful mat cutting that draws attention to the CSA brass wreath like those worn on an officer's uniform. The oak framed picture, with glass, measures 15 1/2 by 12 1/2. It is matted using three mat colors and has a 1/8 inch cut-out line that highlights everything in the picture.
